My gear list will fluctuate a lot. Mostly because my photography interests change fairly often. It changes between macro, landscape, wildlife and night photography. The only thing I don't do often is portrait photography however, I do have some lens listed below as well as a flash that I use when doing portraits for friends and family.
I normally purchase my used camera equipment at KEH Camera because of their great prices and 180 day warranty. Some of the links I've used are affiliate links, which means if you choose to purchase an item, I may get a small commission.
Smaller cost items such as filters, camera bags, etc. I will use Amazon. The link is to my Amazon storefront which will only be items that I have purchased, and liked. Be patient, I am still adding items to my storefront so I don't have that many at the moment!
New gear I will go to Best Buy. I like choosing their special financing, which either means longer to pay, or choosing the option for rewards certificates which means....more camera stuff!!
My current cameras are Nikon D750 full frame and the Nikon D500 Crop Sensor. I use the D750 for my macro, landscape, and portrait shots and the D500 for wildlife due to it giving me some extra reach because of the crop sensor.
Macro photography: Tamron 90 mm. This lens is so much more than just a macro lens. It can also be used for landscapes or portraits and it's Vibration Control allow you to shoot at some low shutter speeds handheld. I don't use any extension tubes when I am using it as a macro lens, and I plan on adding a macro flash soon, but my photos right now are taken with available sunlight or the pop up flash on my camera. The first shot of the jumping spider was using available sunlight. The second shot of the fly (I know he is pretty gross!) is using the pop up flash from my camera, 3rd photo of my husband shows that it can also be a great portrait lens, and the last photo is showing you what a great DOF this lens is capable of.
